I love this easy beach ball arch!!! I went to Lowes and purchased three 3/4″ PVC pipe, two 3/4″ 45 degree couplings, 2 stakes to put the pipe on, 6 pool noodles and inflatable rings from Dollar Tree, various sized beach balls from Oriental Trading Company, fishing line and even easier fuzzy pipe cleaners! That is it!!!
Then you slice open pool noodles, all 6, and place them around the pipe (cutting off additional pipe cutter.) You can adjust the height to fit your needs.
Then the fun begins!!!! Blowing up all those cute beach balls!
I started by attaching the beach balls to arch with fishing line, which was great for the top part of the arch where you want balls to hang at different heights. What I did was tie the fishing line to the valve stem of balls and then push the valve stem in, attaching the other end to the pool noodle. This was a tad cumbersome, using the same method with fuzzy pipe cleaners was much easier!!!
You can use whatever color pool noodles, beach balls to fit your needs. It could easily be done with pinks & purples for a princess themed pool party, or in primary colors for a boy themed party. Another idea that I thought of after seeing this pic, is to do a Mickey Mouse themed party. Look at the middle ball hanging down and the cute two balls that look like Mickey Ears!!!!
When you finish attaching all the balls, time to put it together!!! Snap the 45 degree couplings in place and attach both of your side pieces to the top piece and see how your stakes should be placed, depending on the size of your arch.
My kiddos loved this!!!! It was so easy to do, and such a great backdrop for pictures & parties!
